To Bring Information sheet for Campers, Agents/Volunteers and Staff Members

Camper- Summer Program

  • Camp Clothes --tank tops (not spaghetti strap or halter), t-shirts and shorts that you don't  mind getting dirty --enough to last a week
  • long pants/jeans (required for horseback riding)
  • tennis shoes/hiking boots--remember that your shoes will be getting dirty, so don't bring your best pair to wear every day
  • rain gear
  • nice outfit for Thursday night dance
  • sleepwear
  • swimsuits --these should be camp appropriate i.e. one-pieces for girls and trunks for guys
  • beach towel
  • towels/washcloths
  • bedding (single sheets, comforter, pillows) OR sleeping bag
  • toiletries
  • sunscreen
  • insect repellent
  • prescribed medicine in their original labeled container. It is an ACA requirement that any prescribed medication to be dispensed at camp can *only* be dispensed *if* it is in the original container.

Recommended:

  • water shoes ---must have an ankle strap to keep secure on the foot
  • shower shoes
  • flashlight
  • jacket
  • camera (inexpensive/disposable are great) put your name on it with a black permanent marker
  • camp store money -- usually about $15 - $20 is sufficient

These items are not allowed at camp:

  • Expensive jewelry or other items
  • Electronic Devices like cell phones, MP3/4 players, PSP's, CD Players, etc.
  • Knives, or weapons of any kind
  • Cash, checks, or credit cards (except the store money, that should be given to the adult who registers the youth)

 Volunteers or Agents- Summer Program

  • 2 towels and washcloths
  • Pool/Lake towel
  • 1 or 2 swimsuit(s)
  • Enough casual, camp worthy clothing to last about a week
  • Long pants or jeans (required for horse riding)
  • Warm outside fleece or other outer layer
  • Rain Gear
  • Water Shoes (must have an ankle strap, to keep securely on foot)
  • Tennis shoes/Light hiking shoes or boots
  • Linen set for twin sized bed or sleeping bag
  • Sleep wear
  • Pillow
  • Toiletries
  • Sunscreen
  • Insect Repellant
  • Inexpensive or Disposable Camera with your name on it
  • *Any prescribed medications (turn these in to camp nurse)

Additionally Agents will need:

  • Camp Registration form
  • Completed Health History Forms for all campers, volunteers, and attending agents

  • Staff Member-Summer Program

    • 2-3 towels and washcloth
    • 2 swimsuits - modest (no bikini/speedo types)
    • Enough Casual camp-worthy clothing to last about a week- there are laundry facilities on site
    • Warm outside fleece or other outer layer
    • A set, or two, of nicer clothing for a formal dinner
    • Rain Gear
    • Water shoes (need at least one pair with ankle strap for lake swimming and canoeing)
    • Hiking shoes/boots and tennis shoes
    • Sheets for a twin size bed and/or a sleeping bag
    • Pillow
    • Toiletries & Bug Spray
    • Sunscreen
    • Hat
    • Watch
    • Alarm Clock
    • Phone Card for long distance calling
    • Day Pack
    • Flash Light or head lamp
    • Water Bottle

    Good idea, but not essential:

    • Music (appropriate for young listeners)
