The Chapel

The Chapel was built when Vade Mecum was an Episcopal Church camp. The
Bank of Granite paid for the renovations in 2002. A new roof, central
heat and air and a new floor was put in. In addition there is a small
wall mounted cabinet where the cross can either be seen or hidden away
for more non-secular functions. There is no bathroom facilities in the
Chapel. Sertoma can provide a portable screen and LCD projector at this
location for your meeting needs. It is also the camps designated tornado
shelter. Maximum Capacity: 161

The inside of the chapel is a perfect place to have a meeting, lecture,
dance or wedding. It is truly a multifunctional facility. The chapel sits
atop a hill and there is a small gravel access road where equipment can
be loaded and unloaded. The chapel is located between the hotel and the
classrooms.
